Putting this all together allowed me to reflect on how wonderful everything was connected.  The program started with the Growth Mindset and COVA.  I embraced these ideas and kept them at the center of everything that I did in the program. 

My core values are my faith and my connections.  I'm blessed to have a strong faith and peace when I know I am on the right path.  The DLL program has given me the confidence that I need. Working full time in education really has been a dream for me. I value connections such as family and friends but also finding connections and purpose in the things I do.   For me, I believe that COVA to me is all about helping students find connections. Hearing this emphasized by our instructors and classmates gives me hope for the future. Students need to know what they are learning matters.  I am no different.  I know all these lessons from course content, instructors and classmates will be something I carry with me for a lifetime.  I know this experience has impacted my future. Through my hard work, dedication and have faith, I know that I will be able to impact my students.  Overall, this has been an experience of learning how I can be a difference maker, one student at a time.
